Drier weather forecast this week

After experiencing a very wet weekend, area residents will see a mostly-dry week that will see temperatures steadily climb.

The storm system that delivered steady precipitation for most of the weekend is expected to clear out today. The high will be in the upper 60s and the low will be in the upper 50s.

Tuesday’s high will be 72, while Wednesday’s will be 76. Both days should see partly sunny skies.

From Thursday through Sunday, the projected highs will be in the lower 80s and the lows in the 60s.

Today, the sun will rise at 7:06:45 a.m. and set at 7:47:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, the sun will rise at 7:07:45 a.m. and set at 7:45:48 p.m.
