Hansel 'Buddy' Wiley Jr.

NEW LONDON — Hansel "Buddy" Wiley Jr., 65, passed away unexpectedly in his home in New London.

He was born Nov. 2, 1953, in Kentucky, to Hansel Sr. and Betty Wiley. Hansel “Buddy” was very passionate with his music, playing in many local bands. He also had a love for fishing, Harley's and was a avid collector of muscle cars. He had been employed with Whittguard Security Services Inc. in Avon.

Buddy is survived by three daughters, Crystal Vanvlerah of Norwalk, Shawna Wiley of Huron and Carrie (Ronald) Chaffee of Huron; stepsons, Andy and Brian Hance and their mother Linda; five grandchildren, Brandon (Reagan) Deshuk of Norwalk, Kyle (Breanna) Caskey of Norwalk, Cory (Katie) Caskey of Huron, Kaylobe (Karrie) Caskey of Huron and CPL Jason Chaffee USMC of Camp Pendelton, Oceanside Calif.; four great-grandchildren, Aaden, Braylen, Adalyn and Knox; three sisters, Rosemary Weirich, Tina (Jim) Caldwell and Pam (Domingo) Rodriquez; brother, Danny Wiley; his first wife, Cherry Wiley; very special niece, Dawna Weirich; and many other family and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister, Kathy Leak; brother, Gordan Wiley; and granddaughter, Breanna Chaffee.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday Oct. 10, until Memorial Services at noon, at Mount Harvest Church of God, 150 Ohio 113 W. Milan, with the Rev. Larry Oldaker officiating.
