Loucreassia “Creassie” Case

NORWALK — Loucreassia “Creassie” Case, 88, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019, in her home.

She was born March 5, 1931, in Floyd County, Kentucky, to the late Bud and Josie (Hunt) Blanton, and came to this area in 1952 from Floyd County. Creassie was a former employee of Fanny Farmer Candy Company, and was a former part-time employee of Dave’s Food Mart, She was a former volunteer for the Norwalk Salvation Army, and enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, traveling, spending time on the computer, and especially enjoyed her children, and grandchildren.

Creassie is survived by her children, Andy Case Jr. of Norwalk, Ohio, Sharon (Howard) Harris of Sandusky, Ohio, Brenda (Duane) Harvey of New London, Ohio, Linda (Tim) Dick of Wakeman, Ohio, Cynthia (David) Singer of Norwalk, Ohio, and Susan (Doug) Mackey of Mesa, Arizona, 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters, and by a special friend, Joy Cline of Collins, Ohio. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbie Goble of Norwalk, Ohio.

Creassie was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Case, Sr. in 1995, by her brother, Bill Blanton, and by a grandson, and granddaughter, and by here fiance’ Cecil Crookshanks.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ron Sallee will officiate. Interment will be in Collins Cemetery.
