He was born May 20, 1949 in Sandusky to the late Theodore and Mary (Mowry) Kuhl. He attended Edison High School and was a truck driver for over 42 years. After retirement he worked at Rural King in Norwalk. He enjoyed model trains and was a member of the Firelands Pioneer Power Association. He also enjoyed farming and attending tractor and truck pulls.
He is survived by his wife, Judith Butler Kuhl of Norwalk; children, Amy (Jeff) Hunt of Cleveland, TN, Kay (Brett Jones) Kuhl of Bellevue, Kristy Kuhl Braun of Sandusky, Michael Braun of Huron, Julie Hall of Sandusky, Jeff (Teri) Monahan of Ostrander, OH and Joshua (Cecelia) Monahan of Delaware; many grandchildren and one great-grandchild; siblings, Carolyn (Bob) Mills of California and Steve (Deborah) Kuhl of Huron; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David Kuhl; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Blystone officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.
