He was born December 9, 1940 in Highland Park, MI and was a graduate of Norwalk High School. He was raised by George and Mabel Hartwig on Old State Road and served in the US Army with the Special Forces. He farmed and worked at Tibbles in Bellevue as a well driller, and also worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for Boca Construction. He was a member of the Norwalk Eagles Aerie 711.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Molly (Crossen) March of Norwalk; step-sons, Rob Pierce of Akron and Scott Pierce of Norwalk; grandchildren, Wendy, Erin, Josh and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Don March.
There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk.
