Here's what it's like to work at the drive-in

It’s date night. You grab some blankets and snacks, get in your truck and drive to 2083 W. U.S. 20: The Starview Drive-In.

Ever since I was little, I have always loved going to the drive-in. However, I never thought about the work that goes into keeping the drive-in running.

I recently spent a couple hours “working” at the drive-in. I enjoyed my time there and was impressed, especially with the owners — Jim and Cheryl Doughty, who took over the business at the end of 2015.
