U.S. 224 and Ohio 4 to close Monday

U.S. 224, between Lane Road and Greenwich Milan Townline Road, will close Monday for railroad crossing repairs.

The detour route for westbound motorists will be U.S. 224 to Ohio 61, north on Ohio 61 to Ohio 162, east on Ohio 162 to Ohio 13, south on Ohio 13 to U.S. 224, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, August 3.

Also Ohio 4, south of U.S. 20, will close Monday for railroad crossing repairs.

The detour route for northbound motorists is Ohio 4 to Ohio 547, northeast on Ohio 547 to Ohio 99, north on Ohio 99 to U.S. 20, west on U.S. 20 to Ohio 4, and reverse for southbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen Saturday, Aug. 3.

U.S. 20: Reactive maintenance

U.S. 20, south of Ohio 18, will have intermittent lane closures for culvert reconstruction and repair work. The project is expected to be completed in September.

U.S. 20: Resurfacing

U.S. 20, west of the Village of Wakeman to the Lorain Co. line, will be reduced to one lane of traffic for a resurfacing project and structure repairs. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 15.

U.S. 20: Bridge repair

U.S. 20, at the structure over the Vermillion River, in the Village of Wakeman, will have reduced lane widths and traffic shifted to complete bridge repair work. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained. The project is expected to be complete in October 2019.

Ohio 269

Ohio 269, through the City of Bellevue, will have single lane closures for a resurfacing project. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in August.
