In July alone, there are almost as many activities as there are days in the month. So don’t find yourself clocking more hours on the couch than enjoying what the community has to offer this summer.

Everyone:

7/1 - 7/6 - Camp Patmos Family Camp

7/4 - 4th of July Parade beginning at 10:30 a.m.

7/4 - Mapletree Road Race at Huron County Fairgrounds, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

7/4 - 7/6 - Norwalk Music Festival at 940 Fair Road

7/6 - Meditation Hike with Haven Hypnosis and Wellness, LLC from 10-11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Lake Park  

7/13, 7/27 - Haven Market Days Saturdays beginning at 10 a.m.

7/14 - Blue Suede Cruise from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Summit Motorsports Park 

7/15 - 7/19 - Day camps at Calvary Baptist Church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

7/19 - Visions Revealed 2019: 15th annual art exhibit from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center, Norwalk High School; 

Adults:

7/2 - Bingo beginning at 5:30 p.m. at VFW Post 2743, 140 Milan Ave.

7/10 - EFT (Emotional freeing techniques) beginning at 6 p.m. with Haven Hypnosis and Wellness, LLC at 269 W. Main St., Suite 105;

7/12 - Tribe Time with the Huron County Chamber of Commerce; The bus leaves at 4:30 p.m.

7/13 - Bill Ball annual poker run from 12 to 7 p.m. at Bluto’s Sports Bar & Grill

7/20 - Christmas in July Fundraiser from 4:30-9 p.m. at Bridge Bar and Grill, 3096 S. Ohio 99, Willard

7/20* - Free children’s gun safety class at 2980 Ridge Road *Children must be accompanied by adult.

7/23 - Reiki certification course from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with Haven Hypnosis and Wellness, LLC;

Teens:

7/8-13; 7/15; 7/22-27; - Camp Patmos programming for middle school/sixth through eighth grade (ages 12 to 13); Camp Patmos is a Christian summer camp.

7/8; 7/15; 7/22-7/27; 7/29 - 8/3 - Camp Patmos programming for high school/ninth through 12th grade (ages 14 to 17);

Juniors/pre-teens:

7/9-12 - High5 Camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with The Foundation Church, 535 U.S. 20

7/15; 7/29 - Camp Patmos programming for fourth through sixth grades (ages 9 to 11) 

7/20 - Free children’s gun safety class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Camp Redtail, 2980 Ridge Road for ages 5 to 17;

 

Infants, small and young, grade school-aged children:

7/13 - Relay for Life Beautiful Ms./Mr. Baby Contest at 5:30 p.m. at Whitney Field, 18 St. Marys St., for ages 0 to 5 months, 24 to 35 months old.
