MONROEVILLE — There were no injuries in a three-vehicle accident in Monroeville.

Caleb J. Preston, 18, of 88 Corwin St., Norwalk, was charged with a red light violation following the accident that occurred just after 10 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Main Street (U.S. 20) and Monroe Street (Ohio 547), Monroeville police said.

Ancel L. Webb, 84, of 2644 Ohio 269, Bellevue, was driving a 2008 Mercury east on Ohio 547 when she entered the Main Street intersection and her vehicle collided with a southbound 1996 GMC pickup truck being driven by Preston, police said. The collision pushed Preston’s pickup into a 2005 Jeep being driven by Owen M. The vehicles driven by Preston and Webb sustained disabling damage. The other vehicle received minor damage to the driver’s side.
