This morning's National 'Drive Sober' kick-off event moved indoors

Due to the chance of thunderstorms, the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over national enforcement kick-off event will take place this morning at the health department.

The event will be at Huron County Public Health, 180 Milan Ave., Meeting Room A, at 11 a.m. It will kick off the national enforcement campaign and to inform the public of local efforts.

Speakers will include: Lt. Charles Gullett, of State Highway Patrol, Huron County Sheriff Todd Corbin, Willard Police Chief Shannon Chaffins, Fisher-Titus Medical Center registered nurse Carissa Luxon and other Huron County Safe Communities Coalition members. They will address the community, discuss the dangers of driving impaired, traffic safety and local and state enforcement efforts.
