The Wildcats shot a 178 as a team, easily outdistancing themselves from the Flyers’ score of 214.
For New London, Sean Armold was medalist with a 40. Sean Andolsek added a 43, while Carter Eibel had a 46. Also for the Wildcats, Marcus Mayhorn shot a 49, followed by Kotiana Barber (51) and Dax Amburgy (51).
For St. Paul (1-2), Jackson Cook shot a 43 to lead the way. He was followed by Logan Amato (56), Luke Meyer (57), Nathan Juby (58), David Swope (59) and Dylan Cook (69).
New London will travel to Thunderbird North on Wednesday to face Western Reserve. St. Paul travels to Port Clinton today.

HURON TWP. — The Roughriders picked up an FC win over the visiting Mounties on Monday.
Matt Jarrett led Western with a 39, followed by John Skrada (45), Luke Rowlinson (46) and Camden Hankins (48).

CLYDE — The Redmen had no trouble topping the visiting Tornadoes on Monday in SBC Lake Division play.
For Bellevue, Hudson Strayer was low with a 40. He was followed by Layne Krupp (42), Alex Martinez (43), Adam Hosang (43), Hayden Foos (44) and Aaron Brubaker (49).
Port Clinton 189, Edison 203
CATAWBA ISLAND — The Chargers lost to the host Redskins in an SBC Bay Division match on Monday.
For Edison, Aden Hall led the way with a 43, while Matthew Pounds added a 47. Also scoring for the Chargers was Connor Betts (56), Noah Pulaski (57), Sean Rhodes (63) and Culen Wilber (81).
Norwalk JV second at Tiffin
TIFFIN — The Norwalk junior varsity boys golf team placed second the in 14-team Tiffin JV Invitational at Seneca Hills on Monday with a score of 377.
For Norwalk, Caleb Sommers placed third overall with a score of 88. He was followed by Brayson Malson (94),Isaac Scheel (96), Andrew Epperley (98), Thomas Gfell (103) and Eli Obringer (103).
The JV Truckers are 3-0 on the season.
Norwalk sixth at Lexington
MANSFIELD — The Norwalk girls shot a 437 as a team to finish sixth at the eight-team Lexington Invitational on Monday at Oaktree Golf Club.
For Norwalk, Hannah Dumbeck was low scorer with a 50-47—97. She was followed by Noelle Jackson (54-50—104), Chloe Thomas (57-53—110), Mylea Barber (64-62—126), Mya Binkley (62-71—133) and Mimi Serotko (71-71—142).
Norwalk is at Port Clinton today.

BOWLING GREEN — The Truckers suffered their first loss of the season in Monday’s non-league match played at Bowling Green State University.
For Norwalk (4-1), the first doubles team of Gabby Horowitz and Alexa Moore won over Ashley Hartzel and Grace Skilliter (6-3, 6-4). The second doubles team of Mara Berry and Erin Bleile defeated Kassidy Pittman and Alyssa (6-3, 7-5).
At first singles, Megan Berry fell to Emma Nofziger (6-4, 6-3), while Emma Trost lost at second singles vs. Elizabeth Seiple (7-5, 6-2). At third singles, Lauren Metcalf fell in three sets to Kelsey Verhoff (6-2, 3-6, 6-0).
Norwalk is at Sandusky today in the SBC Lake Division opener.
Edison 3, Mansfield St. Peter’s 3
MANSFIELD — The Chargers opened up the season with a non-league road tie on Monday.
All three goals came from Aliyah Caporini with assists from Katelyn Chenevey and Emma Houser.
The Chargers visit Norwalk on Wednesday.
Norwalk third at Keystone
LAGRANGE — The Norwalk boys placed third out of 15 teams at the Keystone Invitational held at the Lorain County Equestrian Center in LaGrange in the season opener on Monday.
Bay Village won the event with 34 points, followed by Columbia (86) and Norwalk (95).
Norwalk was led by senior Mitchell Sommers' overall ninth-place finish with a time of 17:43. Sophomore Kyler Kromer was 11th in 17:50. Rounding out the top seven runners for Norwalk were Cobey Kromer (18:14), Wyatt Hale (18:52), Gabe Hainline (18:56), Luke Brown (19:50) and Xavier Sweet (20:37).
"This was a very good start to the season,” Norwalk coach Drew Karnehm said. “We graduated several seniors last year and we were hoping the underclassmen would step up this year and they did. It will be exciting to see how different individuals progress as the season continues on."
In the girls race, Norwalk did not have enough runners compete to score as a team. It had two individuals compete, as freshmen Kylie Moser was 29th overall in a time of 25:25 and senior Kelly Faylor was 74th in 32:55.
Up next for Norwalk and many of the area schools is the Seneca East Tiger Classic on Saturday in Attica.

CASTALIA — The Lady Red opened the season with a three-game sweep over the host Polar Bears, winning by scores of 27-25, 25-14 and 25-13.
Taylor Baxter was 36-of-44 hitting with 18 kills and Molly Bullion was 92-of-92 setting with 32 assists to pace the Lady Red.
