For Western, Carson Roe and Gary Uhler each scored eight points, while Camden Hankins added seven points. Jake Jarrett added five points for the ‘Riders, who finished the season with a record of 12-0.
In the loss, St. Paul was led by Travis Herner with five points, while Kaden Maxwell and Logan Amato each added four points.
The No. 3-seeded Flyers (4-12) beat Mapleton in the first round, 52-40. Herner scored 15 points, followed by Maxwell with 13, Eli Fisher with nine and Ethan Nolan with eight.
In the semifinals, St. Paul outlasted New London 42-40 thanks to two free throws with 1.9 seconds left by Herner, who scored a game-high 22 points. Maxwell added 10 points.
Western Reserve, the host team and No. 1 seed had a first-round bye and defeated Ashland Crestview in its semifinal matchup.
